Women Leaders Encouraged to Transform Communities through Visionary Leadership
Peshawar (TADEEB) A Regional Ecumenical Seminar for theologically trained women and ministry leaders in Pakistan, organized under the auspices of the Christian Study Center, was successfully held on May 16, 2026, at the Main Diocese Center Hall, Diocese of Peshawar Cantt., Peshawar, KPK, Pakistan.
Held under the theme, “Women of Excellence: Rising to Create, Lead, and Transform Communities through Visionary Leadership,” the seminar highlighted Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Women from diverse Christian denominations and religious communities participated enthusiastically in the event.
The seminar provided a strong platform for fellowship, dialogue, and strengthening Christian unity. Important topics including visionary leadership, biblical and theological reflection, entrepreneurship, digital media, and the role of women in transforming communities through faith and service were discussed in detail.
On this occasion, Bishop Samuel Azariah and Bishop Humphrey Sarfraz Peters also addressed the participants and emphasized the importance of women’s leadership, Christian unity, and community service.
Participants highly appreciated the inspiring contributions and experiences shared by distinguished women leaders including Ms. Jennifer Jag-Jiwan, Ms. Ruby Naem, Ms. Zorin Elizabeth, and Ms. Saleema Munir, whose presence enriched the seminar and encouraged participants toward effective Christian leadership and community service.
