With profound sorrow and in the hope of eternal life, the Church of Pakistan announces the passing of Rev. Canon Emmanuel Bahadur, a devoted servant of God, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Rev. Canon Emmanuel Bahadur was widely respected as a faithful spiritual leader and a compassionate shepherd to his congregation. His life was marked by humility, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the teachings of Christ and the service of His Church.
The funeral service for Rev. Bahadur will be held today, Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the Central Cathedral of Praying Hands, 15 Waris Road, Lahore. The burial will follow at the Christian Graveyard on Jail Road, Lahore.
The Most Rev. Dr. Azad Marshall, Moderator and President Bishop of the Church of Pakistan and Bishop of Raiwind, expressed his heartfelt condolences and urged the Christian community to pray for the bereaved family during this time of grief.

Family members, friends, and members of the Christian community are invited to attend the funeral and honor the life and legacy of a man who served God and His people with love and humility.
Javaid Daniel, Chief Editor of the Monthly Nia Tadeeb, has expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over the passing of Reverend Canon Emmanuel Bahadur. Paying tribute to his enduring services, Mr. Daniel described him as an exceptional teacher of the Bible and noted that he was serving as the Principal of Lahore College of Theology. He remembered him as a devoted and faithful servant of God.
