Hope for Light, a Christian organization based in Lahore, has proudly launched a new magazine for children, titled “Baily.” This magazine caters to young readers with a mix of Urdu and English content, featuring Bible stories, fiction, poetry, and other engaging materials. The visually appealing design of “Baily” showcases vibrant, four-color printing on thick, high-quality paper, enhancing its appeal to kids.

The cover of “Baily” reflects the joyful expressions of Pakistani children of various ages, while the back cover includes messages from His Grace Bishop Humphrey Peters and Mr. Qaiser Ifraheem Saroya.

Mr. Ataurehman Saman, the editor of “Baily,” shared some historical insights during an interview with Nia Tadeeb. “Back in 1997, Father Gilbert and I initiated ‘Baily’ in the Khanewal district. Even after Father Gilbert left Pakistan, I kept the dream alive. Thanks to the support of our Korean friend Rev. Cho in 2023, we’ve revived and reimagined ‘Baily’ for today’s generation,” he explained.

Mr. Javed David, Chairperson of Hope for Light, added, “We are planning to publish the next issue in December. Our goal is to distribute ‘Baily’ through Sunday schools and educational institutions to reach a broad audience of young readers.”

The magazine also encourages contributions from children, inviting them to share their creative writings and become a part of the ‘Baily’ community.
